We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful evening to shoot Chip & Audrey’s engagement session. With the monsoon season apparently in full swing, I have been rescheduling sessions left and right. The air was muggy, yet with a gentle breeze that kept the gnats and mosquitos at bay. Tryphena’s Garden was in full-bloom and didn’t disappoint with locations to photograph a precious couple. One of my favorite things about Chip and Audrey as a couple is the fact that they smile with their eyes. Their love is apparent in the way they laughed with each other constantly during the session, their shy smiles, the bear hugs and hand-holding that took place during the session. I love this couple – they seem so content just being together – and I can’t wait to capture their love again during their wedding.

These are just a select few of my favorites from Amanda & Jacob’s engagement session. We shot on probably the hottest day we’ve had yet in Middle Georgia, but they were such troopers. I couldn’t get over how naturally beautiful Amanda was or the way Jacob seemed completely head over heels for her, even after several years of dating. I adore this couple and I’m so honored to be shooting their wedding later this year.

Sean & Patricia were so much fun to photograph – I loved how they arrived full of their own props and ideas that perfectly showcased their fun-loving personalities. I’d have to say that my favorite prop was their precious pug, Dobby, who was the perfect gentleman during the entire shoot. I’m so looking forward to their sure-to-be-amazing wedding in Savannah next year, but for the meantime, here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session a few weeks ago!

A few weeks ago, Tom and I made the trek to Nashville to shoot Eric and Rachel’s engagement photos. We had so much fun with these two – Rachel is actually Tom’s “god-sister” {Tom’s mom is her god-mother}. The entire shoot was an adventure – we began at Percy Warner Park and later hit downtown to do some more fun, urban shots. ¬†Eric & Rachel were completely relaxed, warm and too much fun to hang out with – we felt like they were old friends of ours that we’d come to visit.¬†Even their sweet pup, Fozzie, got in on the action and had a few glamour shots made that day! I’m so excited about their Brevard, NC, wedding in just a few short weeks that I can barely stand it. Until then, enjoy this quick preview of their engagement photos.

Sarah is a dear friend of mine from high school, so naturally, she’s very special to my heart. Equipped with beauty (internal and external) and brains, this girl never ceases to amaze me. I knew she was destined for greatness, and after meeting Harrison, I can’t imagine a better person for her to take on the world with. They complement each other in the sweetest of ways – I love the way their love is so evident. I have no doubt that, in each other, they have found their best friend.

Oh, and DO NOT MISS their awesome proposal video: HERE. Tears.
