Lauren Flowers | University of Georgia Graduate

God knew exactly what he was doing when he made Lauren and I roommates. Even though we went to high school together, we didn’t become close until she moved in with me during my senior year of college at UGA. Nearly all of my fondest college memories come from the short 5 months that we lived together. Whether we were camping out in each other’s rooms discovering new music or planning our weddings via Pinterest, we knew how to make the best out of any situation. Once I moved to Chattanooga, our friendship only got stronger with weekly phone dates that sometimes lasted two-and-a-half hours and the purchase of matching friendship necklaces that still hang from our rearview mirrors.

Our friendship began at a time when I was still mourning the loss of another friendship and I truly believe God placed her in my life for healing. No one makes me laugh harder than Lauren. No one has encouraged me in my photography business more than Lauren. No one understands me like Lauren. She truly radiates joy. She’s brilliantly witty, strong-willed, determined, and won’t hesitate to tell anyone what she’s thinking. I can’t imagine my life without my passionate, dramatic, crazy best friend and I thank God for placing her in my life every day. I couldn’t be more proud of her as she follows God’s plan for her life and begins this next chapter.

There’s no one else in the world that I’d wake up at 6 a.m. to shoot their graduation photos.
