Nick & Miriam: Married | Cordele, Ga.

Miriam & Nick’s wedding on the first day of February was a true Southern wedding. Held just south of Cordele at Miriam’s family’s farmhouse, the ceremony took place earlier in the day and included just family members of the couple. The two said their vows on the front porch of the farmhouse as a light mist coated the woods surrounding them. Miriam’s artistic touches and the wedding day’s unique timeline made the event so special and memorable.

________

One of my favorite parts of the day was the 10 “wedding children” that walked out of the front porch door and down the aisle before Miriam appeared.

The ceremony was directly followed by mimosas on the porch and a luncheon for family members inside the farmhouse. I thought this was especially nice; it gave the bride and groom some downtime and gave everyone time to prepare for the reception to follow at 5:30 p.m.
